We are seeing a significant increase in scams this holiday season. Fraudsters are sending fake texts that look like they’re from North Star Community Credit Union and asking members to “verify” transactions or click a link.

As a reminder, North Star Community Credit Union will NEVER:
❌ Ask for your Anytime Online username or password.
❌ Send a text asking you to click a link to verify your account.
❌ Ask for a verification code that was sent to you via text or email.

Remember: You should NEVER share your login information with anyone - ever.

If you receive a message and are unsure if it’s real:
✔️ Do NOT click any links.
✔️ Do NOT reply.
✔️ Call us directly.

Scholarships

NSCCU College Scholarship

The North Star Community Credit Union Scholarships were established in 1980 and have been paid out annually ever since. Scholarships range from $500-$1000 each and will be awarded to high school seniors in the markets we serve. The number of scholarships awarded will be determined by the number of completed applications received. 

To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must be a graduating high school senior, must be enrolled to be a full-time student at the college of his/her choice, and the applicant (or their parent/legal guardian) must be a NSCCU member.

Applications are due by May 1st of each year. To apply, download the application and submit the following:

  • Completed application form
  • Essay: “Why do you wish to attend college. What are your interests, career goals and anticipations for your future?”  
  • High School Transcript  
  • 1 Letter of Reference  
  • Proof of Enrollment or copy of Acceptance Letter
