We are seeing a significant increase in scams this holiday season. Fraudsters are sending fake texts that look like they’re from North Star Community Credit Union and asking members to “verify” transactions or click a link.

As a reminder, North Star Community Credit Union will NEVER:
❌ Ask for your Anytime Online username or password.
❌ Send a text asking you to click a link to verify your account.
❌ Ask for a verification code that was sent to you via text or email.

Remember: You should NEVER share your login information with anyone - ever.

If you receive a message and are unsure if it’s real:

✔️ Call us directly.

Gift Cards

Visa Gift Cards are available for purchase (fee applies) at North Star branches, and are a great option for celebrating a birthday, graduation, wedding, anniversary or other special occasion. Gift cards are available in several seasonal and creative designs. You choose the gift card value, between $10 to $1,000.

 

Prepaid Cards

All of our North Star locations offer the CUMoney Everyday Spend card for purchase; a prepaid, reloadable Visa card. These cards make the perfect gift for every celebration, or a great alternative to other costly prepaid debit cards, and provide you with convenient and secure access to funds.
